Mr. Ganesh Pandey
ConvenerAs a Law student after his graduation, Mr. Ganesh Pandey had been involved with the student movement. Later, he got deeply involved with the working class movement both with the organised and unorganised sectors. Resigning from a steady government job, he founded Shramik Bharti in 1987 at the age of forty-two. An effective orator and strategist, his untiring efforts have made Shramik Bharti a credible resource and training centre for grassroots civil society organisations across India.
Ms. Usha Varkey
MemberMs. Usha Varkey, a teacher by profession, specialises in organising communities and working with women and children. She has travelled extensively within India and abroad, including the Beijing Conference in China in 1995, bringing ideas and inspiration that continue to enrich the organisation.

Assistant Professor of Finance at the Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA). Specialises in Corporate Finance, Financial Markets, and Family Businesses with over nine years of industry and academic experience. Currently associated with the PM Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises Scheme (PM-FME).
Dr. Jayant Upadhyay

Distinguished career in community health, focusing on reproductive and child health and nutrition. Started with Shramik Bharti as Programme Officer – Health and later worked with South Solidarity, Prerna Population Resource Centre and Care India. Published in multiple national and international journals.
Prof A.K. Sharma

Senior academician with specialisation in social demography and social statistics. Published 104 papers in national and international journals, presented over 75 papers at conferences, and authored six books. Recipient of many distinguished academic awards.
